Hi I'm Fresno mayor Jerry Dyer and I want to take this opportunity to welcome back the palm and shields Little League after a two decade Hiatus I know in my life the importance of little league in terms of my Early Childhood which is why I went back after my son was old enough to play little league and coach for several years it taught me and it taught my son the importance of discipline and teamwork and sportsmanship and I know it's going to do the same for all of those who are participating in the palm and shields little league so welcome back and I look forward to seeing you on opening day! - Jerry Dyer(Mayor of Fresno)
